| Ever walked by Rec Park pond and said, "That looks like fun". Or "Wonder how hard it is to sail one of those boats?" Want to get a feel for model sailing before actually buying a boat? Check out these options: If you like competing and love to race, stop by any 2nd,4th or 5th Saturday's of the month from April to October and we generally start from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM and introduce yourself. We'll show you how it's done and give you a test sail. Race days can be a little hectic, so please be patient with us. Or Tuesday evening's between 4:30pm and dusk, several of us casually sail. Since you'll find a smaller fleet with less intense racing, that's an ideal time to give it a try.
