How to Get Started
Come down to the Tred Avon Yacht Club on Wednesday evening before we start racing at 4PM. You'll find us on the south dock. I'll make certain that you can try one of our Club boats or mine if you like (number 51). Or, send me an email to hmsindy11@gmail.com. That's how I got started. I sailed for decades but had never raced. And now, I've come to appreciate the sport of RC racing in it's own right. Racing the radio controlled boats is a great way to enjoy the water, the camaraderie of fellow boaters and expand your knowledge of racing strategy. But, even if you don't drive a boat, it's a pleasure to be at the Club just to watch.
